Well what a month October was!
New venues, new courses and new accreditations.
Firstly I'd like to give thanks to the people that attended both of my courses at Belmont. The adult workshop was a pleasure to run and it was a complete joy to cook a range of delicious vegan dishes using the finest produce from the kitchen garden, while my family course was packed with a great number of highly talented young chefs, of whom it was a pleasure to
October also saw the final orchard weekend at Brogdale, over the past year we have met hundreds of people who stopped by to join us for some fruit-based fire-food and if you were one of them, thank you for stopping by and visiting this very special place!
We were also really pleased to join Katy and Rob at Monkshill Refectory for Day of the dead fest, while the weather was initially the most challenging I'd faced, it was a terrific event and it was so lovely to see so many familiar faces amongst those who joined us.
It means a lot x.
A good part of last month was also spent walking the North Downs and I am pleased to say that I am now a fully fledged North Downs Ambassador! As someone who is immensely proud to be a Man of Kent, I am very passionate about the stunning landscape in which I reside and the many tales behind it, hopefully in the not too distant future I will be able to share some exciting news about events taking place in this unique location, working alongside many of the awesome ambassadors I have met over the past couple of months!
Very soon I will be publishing a blog post advising of new changes to my website- particularly the new-look recipe section which includes many of the delicious recipes from this summer that I have yet to publish!
As ever thanks for reading.
Have a great week,
