We are excited to be running a new workshop for 2022 at Belmont with Box and Bloom – Cook & Create

Young people and their families will have the opportunity to learn two skills during this memorable and immersive workshop. Outside, in the spinney, young chefs will get the opportunity to get hands-on prepping and cooking over fire, a delicious seasonal lunch followed by pancakes with Scott and his Wild Classroom team over the campfire in the spinney.

While over in the Orangery, Nancy from Box and Bloom, will teach you how to make an everlasting dried flower crown. Crafters will use a metal hair band as the base and floristry tape to attach their selection of dried flowers to create a gorgeous crown fit for fairy royalty!

Suitable for both boys and girls at a basic experience level to create something magical to wear for a special occasion.

£45.00 includes the registration of 1 adult & 1 child aged 4 – 15 years. Light lunch and all materials are included for both parent and child to make a flower crown. Please email events@belmont-house.org if you would like to add an additional person.

All attendees must complete a health questionnaire before attending this event. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Please note, events are subject to change due to COVID-19 guidance. Bookings are non-refundable.

Join us during the Easter break at Belmont House where you and your family will be able to cook over fire using fresh ingredients from the Kitchen Garden.

On arrival you will be taken to the kitchen garden and collect your ingredients for the day, while also having the opportunity to view the garden itself and meet members of the Belmont gardening team responsible for growing them.

After this you will be escorted to our outdoor cooking area where each family will have their own table and tools to prepare food before cooking with fire using a range of techniques.

Typically on these longer sessions you will have the chance to cook and enjoy a range of dishes mostly using very local and seasonal produce, tummies will be full!

Once the session is complete you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful setting at Belmont.
